Change how we do training. Yearly we are required to take privacy training, IA training, performance system training, etc…. to comply with statutory and policy driven requirements. It takes hours to complete a full slate of training over any given year and the training is based on the premise that the employee knows nothing about the training topic. Why can’t we take a pretest on the subject matter and if we pass the test the requirement to take training is waived; if we fail the test then the training is mandatory.
