I suggest you...Conduct more Court of Appeals arguments by video conference, particularly in a substantial number of criminal and prisoner litigation cases involving government attorneys or private attorneys paid by the government. This would greatly reduce the funds spent on government travel. It also would increase productivty by reducing commute time for oral arguments. The Tenth Circuit has adopted a similar practice by permitting parties to appear for oral arguments at a designated federal courthouse within the Circuit to reduce litigation expenses. Other Circuits should adopt a similar approach.
