Making Radioactive Waste Safe and Saving Money to Boot

I suggest you instruct the Department of Energy (DOE) to immediately employ the process of Nuclear Remediation to make spent nuclear fuel non-radioactive and safe. The process was developed by Paul Brown, PhD and involves bombarding nuclear waste with specific types of energy to cause it to release its stored energy and become a nonradioactive, safe substance in the process. The savings would be all the money we currently spend to store radioactive waste.
