Open Resource Sharing

Reduce overall IT operational costs through interagency resource (hardware, software and technical support services) sharing and hot seat computing.

Millons of dollars are spent annually within DoD to sustain current infrastructures, procure hardware and software and IT support services. These costs are incurred by each individual federal agency, service component, base and station.

Combining or sharing resources across the agencies will reduce uncessary waste, need for high contractor agumentation, and lower IT resource spending by sharing hardware and software.

Additionally, hot seat computing solutions can open opportunity to share physical space through shared resources vs. having a seat, computer, phone and building/room for an entire agency or group of people.
