Owners of the Piggyback Car will be part of a network that advertises their position and destination via wireless GSM/GPRS in conjunction with GPS in a VPN.
Upon agreement between two users- one will carry and one will be carried.
To ensure fairness: any one car cannot exceed a 3000 mile balance as being carried, or as a carrier, it must do both.
Driver inputs destination through the Graphic Interface and selects an option of
A. Do not participate at this time.
C. Be Carried (piggyback)

Assuming the driver selected C (Be Carried), the following sequence of events will take place.
Using standard wireless communications, the network will search for eligible carriers on the grid (as selected by user range scale of 0-5miles, 5-10, 10-20 etc), however the decision to accept the request rests with the eligible carrier.
An eligible carrier decides to accept the request since he is nearby and going the same direction. He would then send a provisional acceptance with a proposed rendezvous location. The piggyback would then have access to the carriers score (yet to be designed scoring system consisting of driving record details, insurance, load scores, drop scores, customer service, comfort, etc.). Once the piggyback accepts he may suggest a different rendezvous, in any case the lines of communication are opened and once accepted the two cars will head for the rendezvous.
Loading and Unloading
Loading is safer than unloading since the car does not have to back up. It is a fast process that is only limited by other traffic impeding a head to toe alignment of car A and car B. In the future load zones would make things easier.
Unloading is a process that requires car A to remain stationary while car B rolls off in reverse.

Car will be secured utilizing an electromagnetic locking mechanism & hydraulic leveling system.
Purpose: The Purpose of the hydraulic leveling system is to level the vehicle for a more comfortable ride, provide access points and delivery methods for the electro-magnetic locks, and provide a means to maneuver the center of gravity.
