Recycling

I suggest that all federal buildings and offices be required to recycle white paper and other items as appropriate. At least until all government offices cut down on the amount of paper we print, copy, or generate as part of reports, emails, etc. all white paper and other items such as soda cans, cardboard, newspaper, should be required to be recycled. Additionally, the federal government agencies and purchasing officers should be strongly encouraged to only order green or recycled products for use by the government. Setting this kind of purchasing tone will soon spill over to the private sector once the savings are realized.
