Can a system be set up to share supplies with other offices in the same Districts? Some supplies sit in our offices for what seems years and are never used. Or extra things are ordered because two different people order the same item. If there was a way to post in the inter-department web system (FSIS, FDA, USFS) extra items? Tthese could be sent without the department buying additional items from supply. Examples of this would be government locks, un-opened ink cartridges from old printers, Export Stamps, and other similar items. If the government paid for it once, why pay for additional ones if there are some that are not in use? Shipping costs would be the same if Supply sent it or if it was sent from another field office and you would know that it is in stock!
