Temperatures in buildings

I suggest that the government mandates that air temperatures inside federal buildings and offices be raised to 78 degrees in the warmer months and 68 degrees in the colder months to save on air conditioning and heating costs. This was done during the oil embargo of 1979 -1980 and the government saved lots of money. Federal employees learned to adjust to the temperatures by dressing appropriately and contributing to the solution to lower costs. Until the renewable energy solutions and more energy efficient buildings are constructed, this program should start immediately.
