Raise Pay for Managers

I suggest that you raise the pay grade level for group manager positions, to GS15 (or whatever the pay grade is for a territory manager) Currently, a member (non-manager) of a group can be a GS 14. This is probably a very technical person The manager (of the group), at the same time, is a GS 14. The job description states that the manager's job is not a technical position. I suggest that the job description be changed ...more »

Print New Money - Old Money No Good anymore

Print New money for the year 2011, and state that no money prior to the new printed year will be accepted by the US companies any longer. This would require individuals to get bring their cash hoards to banks and exchange/deposit money to the banks. This will also help in the drug arena in which dealers would have to find a way to make their drug money clean, hence more tax crimes and money laundering crimes.

Switch US dollar to Chinese Yuan

Do away with the US dollar and switch to using the Chinese Yuan. This would negate the massive trade advantage used by China when they peg the official rate of exchange to the dollar. Also, it will make it easier when they finally forclose on the US government.

Higher Pay, Telework, more Time Off for Education/Training

As loyal Federal employees, we work and pay taxes. Many private sector Americans are about to have an extension on their unemployment benefits. If you work 40 hours a week and commute 3 hours a day as I do, you rarely have time to exercise your body or your mind. Instead of a long commute, we should be using that time to further our education by pursuing professional interests. This would increase our value to the organization, ...more »

Eliminate paper money

With the increased expansion and usage of credit, debit, gift cards, I think that it will be highly beneficial if we could eliminate paper money altogether. I envision that someday we could just carry a cash card instead of paper money. I think that this will eliminate the cost of printing money, reduce risk of money laundering, eliminate risk of money counterfeit, support the environment. The infrastructure to support ...more »

Elimination of $1,$2 and $5 paper currency

Eliminate the $1, $2, and $5 paper currencies. These can be easily made coin form as in most European countries.

the life of Paper Currency is much much shorter than the life of coin currency and this would save not only money in reproducing these denominations of bills every year, but would also be a "Greener way" to exchange currency.

Monetize IRS.Gov

IRS.Gov is probably one of the most visited Federal Government web sites. Along with Social Security and Health Care, it is one of the primary channels through which the public interfaces with their Government. In light of the traffic this site attracts, and the cost it currently incurs to operate, I believe this premier web property should be monetized, by allowing non-Federal entities to operate and run the site. ...more »

Payroll budget reduction

As a sign of goodwill to the general public during these tough economic times and as a way to allay the idea of big government, provide all federal employees with the option to forgo a non-merit based pay increase, such as the annual cost of living increase for those employees who have their salary adjusted based on the cost of living in their area.
