Give the Option of Early Retirement since most agencies are Top-Heavy (experienced employees maxed out at the top of their pay level). This allows new hires to be made and reduces the overall payroll cost of the US Government. Savings might well be in the billions!

Elected Public Officials CAN NOT be allowed to give themselves Increased Benefits and Pay without public approval

Elected Public Servants can not vote for their own pay raises and benefits.

 

If a public election put someone in office then a public vote should be required to approve any increases to salary, bonus, holiday, health, and retirement benefits.

 

A government of the people, for the people, by the people, not the privledged.

Establish a "Family Maximum" for SSI

As we do have "Family Maximum" rules for entitlement programs, why not one for eligibility programs? States have established levels of eligibility for households on Public Assistance already. We should adopt or establish similar rules for the SSI program. It will reduce the amount of cash payments currently being made.
