I suggest that small government agency managers be incentivized to manage with more fairness, equity, and integrity. I suggest you...that the govenment should state a nationwide medication bottle recycling project. People recycle paper, plastic jug/bottles/bags, tires, metals. There are millions of medication bottles that land up in landfields because people just throw them away, when they are finished taking the medication. Discontinue security programs which provide no actual security, such as LincPass. Within the USDA alone, this multi-million dollar project consumes large amounts of funds, yet has never been made use of. Additionally, the TSA reports that DHS has stated it is no longer considered proof of identity. Tax Alcohol/beer the same way that tobbacco is taxed. Both are poisonous and long term use of either leads to health issues down the line.
Eliminate the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) as a separate agency and move its function under the Department of Commerce. CPSC overlaps with functions that DoC performs and they would benefit from being part of a larger agency with existing infrastructure and commerce expertise.
