Books Without Borders: How to Improve Rural Libraries for Free

Each year, large libraries in major cities and universities get rid of thousands of books to create space for new books. Many perfectly good books are thrown out, discarded, or sold in the libraries for pennies. These books could revitalize rural library shelves across America, at a time when rural libraries don't have the funding to purchase these same books.
