DRIVERS TEND TO GET LULLED & SPEED, DRIVING FASTER THAN ALLOWED. STATIONARY SPEED LIMIT SIGNS ARE NOT AS EFFECTIVE AS ACTIVE SIGNS THAT FLASH, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. SAFER SPEEDS & MORE ALERT DRIVERS IMPROVE SAFETY & SAVE FUEL AND LIVES
Require either airbags or a soft surface on the front of trains. This way when they hit a car/bike/person/bus there could be some cushion, so the people might live through these. I mean an airbag that deploys out ward and can stay deployed for a while OR (2) a soft coating (think Nerf ball) fastened on the front of the trains to cushion the impact a bit. I would like to see a requirement for a majority of printing to be done in black and white ink and double-sided, unless it is necessary to do otherwise. The default printer settings on our computers is set to colored and single-sided which wastes expensive colored ink and a lot of paper. Many times I would hit print without remembering to change the setting I would get an email needlessly printed in color or the signature ...more »
Change "Car Fuel Fleet Standards" to a simple scaled "Engine Tax". Tax cars/engines that are more fuel efficient much less so that fuel efficient cars cost less to buy, or maybe even subsidized, and also allow car companies to make whatever kinds of cars the market actually wants.
