Budget Savings

Frequently an organization’s end of the year leftover funds are spent, many times frivolously, to justify next year’s budget. Instead of penalizing an organization with left over funds, reward and allow them to maintain the same budget.

GSA Fleet Sharing and Accountability Could Save $6Billion and Environment

GSA has about 212,000 vehicles in its fleet divided among 75 federal agencies. Most of these vehicles are assigned to individuals ie. one vehicle one man. Last year alone, GSA spent $287 Million to buy 17, 205 new vehicles to its fleet bringing the new number to about 220, 205 vehicles. Passports and Green Cards (Go electronic w/these security updates)

I realize the “make a suggestion” contest phase is over; but this idea is AMAZING. Save Hundreds/Thousands of Dollars on Health Care Premiums by Offering a 2-Party Health Care Plan

The Federal Government and its employees could save hundreds of dollars each month if there was a 2-Party health care plan option offered, not just a Family plan. I was a single parent for 15 years (just recently married) and all other employment before working for the Government offered 2-Party plans. Printing money is expensive. We could save money with an automated system. I propose we show our patriotism by getting an American flag tattooed onto our hand – or some patriotic Americans can have it on their forehead. Expand the modeling and simulation workforce in the DOD. Having a larger modeling and simulation workface will increase the number of studies that can be conducted. Furthermore, it will limit costly and environmentally unfriendly live-fire testing.
