Does everyone need a receipt?

In the canteen a receipt is printed for every transaction. From my experience, very few people request the receipt so it just goes straight from the cash register and into the trash. I suggest only printing a receipt if requested by the patron. This will cut the cost of the paper to put in the machine, the time it takes to replace the paper, and the trash created that requires disposal, not to mention helping the enviornment.... more »

Improve communication, accountability and transparency of inter-related work groups

Doing business with inter-office IT groups like security, telecommunications, operations, etc. should be similar to working with outside customers/vendors. Work tickets/contracts should be completed within a timely manner and communication should be performed to let the customer know the status. Allow Walmart to compete to replace AAFES

Allow Walmart to compete for AAFES contract. Walmart has the market for the best retailer in America with the lowest prices. AAFES is overpriced and runs a monopoly. Change the rules and allow Walmart to compete for the Base Exchange/Post Exchange/Navy Exchange and see who wins. Fix OCIO (IT OR ITS)

The ITS Staff we have in this state is swamped with work; when we pay $3500/year to service each computer and don’t get things fixed it slows us down. Therefore we can’t do our job effectively, which in turn, wastes taxpayer’s money.
