UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRATION SOLUTION: SELF FUNDED DETERRENT PREVENTING THE HIRING OF UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS

I suggest a new type of proactive solution in the form of an enforcement system to deter the hiring of undocumented workers (illegal aliens, deportable/inadmissible aliens) through self funded economic incentives (monetary rewards) generated by fines. It will encourage the public to report violators and discourage employers from hiring undocumented workers. A percentage of the fines levied on employers of undocumented... more »

Why are we wasting all this money enforcing laws in of the US that our elected officials do not want enforced?

Why are we wasting all this money enforcing laws in of the US that our elected officials do not want enforced? The elected and appointed officials of the US do not think it is necessary for the US Immigration laws to be enforced. By abolishing ICE, CBP and BP the government will save a large sum of money. The officers and agents could be reassigned, as needed, to various Ports of Entry (POE) to process the newly... more »

ERO CAN SAVE MONEY ON A NUMBER OF DEPORTATIONS

When it comes to aliens with a final order of removal who are in ERO custody and whose Embassies are either notorious for not issuing a passport or travel document or the alien refuses to cooperate with his or her removal, and the alien previously held LPR, Asylee or Refugee status, ERO should be able to petition USCIS to issue these removable aliens a travel document (Form I-326), which then can be used to effect the... more »

Stop paying foreign countries to do the work we can do here

This applies to NASA, oil, retail, manufacturing and many other aspects of government regulation. We need to stop spending money on government projects that are outsourced and more on local problems. Leave charity work in other countries in the hands of non-profit organizations, churches, etc. Stop paying Russia to send people to space and keep the U.S. at the forefront of manned space flight without paying another country's... more »

EFFICIENT UNDOCUMENTED WORKER DETERRENCE/ SELF FUNDED INITIATIVE

Through economic incentives (positive reinforcement) we will effectively deal with the challenge of undocumented workers (deportable/inadmissible aliens) by implementing a cost saving Deterrence Program modeled and based around a Crime Stoppers/Hotline type of format. A National Hotline will be advertised and provided to the Public, it will provide an avenue that members of the public can report illegal hiring of undocumented... more »

Customer Service - One Stop Shops

Create a series of customer service centers with toll free numbers and websites focused around specific functions, with representation from relevant agencies. Immigration is a perfect example. USCIS and ICE are the two main components of DHS where this can be applied. The State Department also has involvement with the immigration process and should have representation as well. (A website such as immigration.gov could... more »

Dept of Labor...HELP stop Illegal Immigration!

Get Department of Labor Involved! I am not familiar with the mission of the DOL, but as a Border Patrol Agent I am very familiar with our Nation's approach to immigration (don't get me started on building that brilliant fence...I won't sleep tonight). Anyhow, I want to catch the bad guys, the ones who have been deported and told never to return because we already have enough problems here. I do not want to waste my... more »

Many federal public-benefit programs prohibit payments to individuals not in the U.S., yet agencies themselves are prohibited from using data already collected by DHS/CBP because of DHS mission statement. The federal vision of homeland security should not be construed so narrowly as to exclude economic protections. DHS houses data on border crossings (BCI) that can easily be "sanitized" for use by non-law-enforcement... more »

Combined Agency Spanish-Speaking Website

Since many spanish-speaking citizens are typically wary of the U.S. Govt. (due to immigration issues, etc.), I suggest a combined (all govt. agencies) spanish language website to describe resources citizens can utilize. The website would include a toll-free hotline with spanish speakers who could answer/refer questions related to the U.S. Government. This website would be a good start to heal the distrust between spanish-speaking... more »

Use Illegal Aliens to Secure the Southern Border

Conscript adult illegal alien labor to build a large, imposing, defensible, permanent, and impenetrable concrete wall along the southern border, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean. House, feed, train, and provide medical care to the illegal aliens for a 5 year term of service after capture or identification as illegal aliens, but do not pay them a salary or a stipend. In other words, provide "three hots and... more »

Citizenship test on health care

Require non-citizens to put money in pre-paid debit card accounts to use for obtaining health care. Health care will only be given to non-citizens with these pre-paid accounts. When a non-citizen needs care, they turn over their card and get as much care as they can pay for with the card. No free care will be given to anyone not a U.S. citizen. During their care, they can add more money to the card at any time to get... more »
