Implement Program to Provide Christmas Bonuses for Federal Employees

Companies, particularly in the financial industry, give handsome Christmas bonuses to their employees. In fact, companies like AIG, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, and Citibank often give employees bonuses that exceed their annual compensation.

 

It is only fair that Federal employees who give so much to the public and to their Nation should also receive some token of appreciation during the Holiday season.

Green Rooftops

I suggest creating rooftop gardens on Federal buildings. Most rooftops are ugly, empty space. Private corporations are starting to implement this idea including PNC, which created a living mural on the side on one of their buildings. City Hall in Chicago and also implemented a Green Rooftop.
