I suggest bonus/cash awards be eliminated for all SSA management positions, beginning with the SSA Commissioner in Baltimore. Further, I propose a freeze in hiring/promotions for supervisory/management positions in the agency until there is a sufficient number of hires and positions filled for public contact and service jobs.
