I disagreeThere should be a blanket MOA covering the agencies in DHS. This would allow information to be shared (keeping PII standards) so that the mission of DHS is not hindered. Tom Ridge's intent was to have information flow from agency to agency for the creation of predictive analytics, so 9-11 would not happen again.

I disagreeThere have been some wonderful ideas captured in the SAVE Award process. Also, many ideas are being repeated several times. It would be good to take a look at all the ideas and sort them by theme instead of agency and find the top ideas that way. For example, several people have suggested a post for recycling items that are useful, one was from NASA, DHS, and USDA. They all are suggesting basically the same thing, a repository ...more »

They all are suggesting basically the same thing, a repository for people to find items that the agency has that can be re-used. Perhaps having ideas listed by theme would be better than having them listed by agency e.g. green intiatitives, health and safety, pay and benefits. This might be a better way of looking at the suggestion process. Thank you for having this program, it allows employees to have buy-in into their work and make a difference.

I disagreeIdea: Online Trading Post
Problem: Budget constraints do not always allow items to be purchased, but there still is a need for an item, desk, chair, books...
Solution: An online "Trading Post" for items that one agency may not need, but another agency would like could be listed and that item could be utilized at a cost savings.
