I suggest that the clearance process is too important to outsource. It would save tremendous money if that function were not outsourced and if we revamped the process to make it more responsive to beaches of employee trust. For instance, there could be a psychological interview and /or set of questions as well as numerous other proven methods for evaluating the trustworthiness of an indivual. We need to take advantage of technology and not just continue to do what has been done.
