As a Govt. employee, I have attended several trainings and it seems I always walk away with a huge binder (2"-4" thick) of training material inside. The pages are printed on 1 side. If they were printed on both sides, it would not only reduce paper usage (Paper Reduction Act), but storage space in the office would be cut in half. Also if more than one employee from a department/agency attends the same training, why not only send home one binder of reference/training material to be shared instead of several. I have been to trainings with 8-12 co-workers and we all come back with the same 2"-4" binder of reference/training material.
