Put people to work--neglected work that needs to be done in US cities
Many of the cities of the US have very old underground pipes which are failing
everywhere. Pipes are breaking and not being repaired properly. Precious water is being wasted. This will escalate to be a huge problem some day. Why not train and put people to work to replace all of the underground water supply pipes. If a city has underground pipes greater than 50 years old then they should be replaced. This would put lots of Americans back to work and teach many of them a new trade. I have examples of this if needed.
