Id like to suggest that a vast and available work force is better utilized by the US government. That workforce is the retired, semi-retired or out of work 40-70 age group. The babyboomers generation which is a large percentage of the population. A group that is a largly untapped wealth of knowledge and experience and one who also comprises a large voting block. Improve Morale by using Technical Liaisons on Districts

Improve Morale by using technical liaisons on districts; this will save a ton of money.
Create two new technical positions back on districts or at least every other district. Combine IT\GIS\DB duties as one position, HR\Budget&Finance as the other. CUT EXECUTIVE, LEGISLATIVE & JUDICIAL PAY BY 10%!

I believe Executive, Legislative, and Judicial pay should be cut by 10%! I understand Congress and the Senate may be making the decisions that run our country, but their pay is wasteful - just like the bonuses that are paid to the bank CEO's and oil tycoons. Taking money from lower income government employees by not granting annual raises and forcing minimum wage is borderline theft! Our country is suffering financially... more »

Reduce or Eliminate Executive Motor Pools!

Executive motor pools should be dramatically reduced or eliminated. Senior officials should use public transportation wherever possible, not government vehicles. The cost savings include less need for these: parking spaces, vehicle purchase, vehicle maintenance, personal drivers, and motor pool management.
