Government offices considering a new telework program should factor in that those employees will at some time need to report in person. Youth group for the children of Embassy staff (locals and Americans alike) whereby the young ones will be mentored by members of staff and other visitors of the Embassy. Time and Attendance System Wasteful and Unneccesary

Our current time and attendance system is out of control! We need to get rid or our time clocks and hand written time sheets and use the Web based time and attendance system.
Our current process is as follows:
-When we enter the building, we use an electronic key to open the door which records our entry into the building.
-We then punch in using the time clock

The current practice of handling grievances internally at the lowest possible level requires people with some possible culpability for a problem to incriminate themselves, or their close associates. Exit Interviews for those who Retire, Resign, or Transfer Agencies

OPM or OMB or some regulating entity should enforce that exit interviews occur. Where there are significant amounts of highly qualified employees bailing from certain parts of an agency then someone should be looking into the situation, particularly when it is occurring at an agency which is at/near the bottom of the list of happy employees with good morale.
